Bill Murray has reprised his role as Peter Venkman from the Ghostbusters franchise, featuring in a Halloween advertisement for electric vehicle maker Rivian. The ad sees Murray cruising through New York City in the Ecto-R1, a Ghostbusters-themed electric SUV made by Rivian.
The appearance is a surprise comeback to the franchise for the 75-year-old actor, though it sits outside any film project. Rivian put out the campaign on 9 October 2026, just before Halloween.
