Defense attorneys in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial rested arguments on day 18 after detailed psychiatric testimony describing postpartum psychosis. The psychiatrist told the court Clancy heard voices, felt as if controlled like a puppet, and was frankly psychotic. The prosecution is now bringing forward rebuttal witnesses to address the testimony. A prosecution psychiatrist testified that Clancy told her children "go to God" during the January 2023 fatal stabbing of their two young siblings. Clancy has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. The trial is nearing its end.
