Cristiano Ronaldo has shortened his disciplinary action to 29 days' suspension and a $285 fine for abandoning Portugal's training session. Initially, he asked for a punishment with no reduction but later attempted to shorten it. The disciplinary action stemmed from a disagreement with coach Jesus. Ronaldo asked for punishment 'without mitigation' initially then tried to cut it. The fine and suspension were given for exiting the camp prematurely.
