Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen is in the news again as a new film, The Social Reckoning, brings her story to a wider audience. Starring Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White, the film recreates her choice to bring hidden documents to light.
Haugen said publicly she has "extreme worry" about a culture shift at Meta and believes Zuckerberg is pushing recklessly forward with AI. She said she hopes the film inspires others to act, telling The Verge she wants it to give others the courage to go public.
