Users worldwide report problems with Instagram including access issues and timed-out content. Downdetector data shows a rapid rise in outage reports now noted. All the app and website appear affected simultaneously. Meta has yet to release a statement about this outage as of 22 July 2026. Similar issues have been noted across its parent platform, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
