Florida's Department of Transportation has confirmed planned road closures this weekend affecting I-95, I-395, and SR 836 in Miami. Drivers should prepare for detours across the affected corridors.

Separately, a morning crash blocked all lanes of I-95 South near the Chatham County Welcome Center in Georgia, causing major backups close to the Georgia-South Carolina state line. A second crash shut two lanes on I-95 North near 45th Street in West Palm Beach, making Friday's congestion worse on the heavily traveled highway.
