Fox News host Jesse Watters expressed doubts about receiving $5,000 checks, criticized Republican midterm election results, and compared political support shifts to temporary emotional changes in a relationship. He described the GOP coalition as in disarray and the recent election as a severe defeat. Watters stated that these political changes are transient and will vary with circumstances. His comments came during a broadcast where he seemingly lost faith in Republican prospects after the midterm elections.
