Michael Taaffe received his first NFL start. He left with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety intercepted Kirk Cousins to open the half. Taaffe started at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was left out of the starting group. The interception came on the opening drive of the half. It gave Miami possession for the opening series of the half. Kirk Cousins later threw his third touchdown pass. That put them up 24-13 on the scoreboard. Taaffe's takeaway stood as the rookie's maiden NFL interception of the game.
