London police discovered a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff identified the helpless animal on July 18. The animal was nervous and had no water while trembling. It survived the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates described it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a newly described monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery came during a routine survey in the Congo Basin.
